1968 MGB  -  I purchased this car in Whitinsville, Massachusetts in 1980.  It had quite a bit of rot, especially in the rocker panels.  Mechanically, the car was nearly perfect.  The gentleman I purchased it from was a MG specialist, doing restorations, repairs, and engine rebuilds.  He used this car as his "run about" to do errands and etc.  I wish I had more photos of the car.

The interior of the car needed little work, mainly a good cleaning and recovering of the seats.  I replaced the carpets, but never did get to replace the original, leather seat upholstery.  The red and black color scheme is one of my favorites.

All of these photos were taken in Massachusetts in 1980 and 1981.  I don't know what ever came of the car as I had sold in in 1982.  Unfortunately, I don't have a record of the VIN.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did find a couple of old Polaroid's from the work done in a body shop.  Notice the large 6x9 speakers cut into the real cowl panel.  Well it was the 70's!
