1972 Roadster Acquisition - I purchased this '72 MGB in September, 1998. It needed
quite a bit of work, but I saw great potential. Here are some photos taken
immediately after I acquired it. Click on any thumbnail to see a full size

The bonnet and grill are in bad shape. There
was a minor accident and a subsequent repair that are now looking shoddy.
I plan to replace all these parts.
The car is straight and has a little rust
of the surface variety on the body.
The engine compartment isn't in bad shape. The paint
is generally good, except on the left side where hydraulic fluid spills
have damaged it. This photo was taken after my first attempt at a
cleaning.
The cockpit needs a complete replacement. Only the
dashboard, seat frames and some components are worthy of keeping. Oh yes, and
one window crank.
